Dani Fonseca

A native to the 5 boroughs of New York City, Dani brings over 15 years of extensive knowledge and experience from both the fine art and fashion industries to her business. Her creative knowledge stems from her fine art background in painting and drawing as well as her years working in theater, painting sets and designing makeup.

Dani has worked on productions including Lady Gaga’s Born This Way video, Victoria’s Secret 2010 Fashion Show, Cirque du Soliel’s Varekai and Alegria, The Pussy Cat Dolls (with Carman Electra & Jaime Pressley) as well as several fashion shows including House of Fields, Abigail Lorick, Devi Kroell, Joanna Mastroianni, Phillipe and David Blonde, Max Azria, Herve Leger, Wayne and more. Dani launched her body art and event production company, The Body of Art in 2005 where she has served an array of prestigious clients with unique creations in body art, makeup, installation and other performance art. Her clients include Marc Jacobs, Adriana Lima, The Latin Grammies, Nick Arrojo and has had editorials published about her work in The New York Times, The Miami Herald, The Washington Post, USA Today, The New York Post, as well as The SOHO Journal, and has been a featured artist in On Make-up Magazine.

As an educator of airbrush make-up and body art for over 1000+ beginner and professional make-up artists alike across the U.S. and internationally, Dani works with The Powder Group, Make Up For Ever, SOMA, Complexions, The School of Professional Make Up and of course Temptu’s Consumer and Pro divisions. Dani continues to work with Temptu as one of their lead national trainers and Pro Make-up Artists. She also is privileged to be a member of the Make Up For Ever Artist Alliance Team where she supports their Pro Artist Seminars, and contributes her artistry to Pro Events.
